| Revival for the Western Society | | Repentance is Key! Outside of "Prophetic Song and Hymns"(Keith's music) the western Church is asleep while they sing. We sing of His glory and then smear ourselves with the slime of the world as the Church walks condemming the "sinners" only to live the same way. Our hearts are cold and our ears are clogged with the wax of idolatry.
Pray for true repentance, Nineveh style. We live in an age when even the Western Christian does not know their right hand from their left.
Prayer meetings are little attended and when they are attended there is so much music there is little time to lament our condition. Concerts have little standing room and are so loud we couldn't hear Jesus' voice if we strained. Pray for revival and expect God to change the one who prays first.

Michael, I agree with most of what you said here. I attended an infant dedication last Sunday and cried long before the dedication took place. I was the ONLY one in the congregation carrying a Bible. The preacher called the small children forward and gave them two cards. Each having the "commandments" on them. As listed by the preacher, "The forst is to love you neihbor as yourself, then the other is to love God." The small children were instructed to put one of the cards in one shoe and the other in the other shoe. How can these precious little ones learn to "fear" the Lord or have reverence when they are instructed to "walk" all over God's commandments? My heart was broken. I am praying much for the little babes.
