Hi Melody,
My ex-husband and I were faithful subscribers and supporters of LDM. When I heard the ministry was closing I didn't realize there would still be articles...You can imagine my joy when I "happened" on this site. I am sorry to hear of your divorce, I too went through a divorce after 25 years of marriage. Regardless of the reasons and "rightness" of the choice, it is still an experience I personally wish non should experience. However, I do believe God uses all things and will redeem the situation somehow. Perhaps your situation occurred so others who might not assimilate with the messages written, would find someone who understands their pain, making them open to listening....
I passionately endorse your article. I am a part time instructor at a state university, finding a wheat harvest ready to be picked.....I have had the wonderful opportunity to have nearly 2,000 students in my classes over the years and simply having Jesus live in me has allowed me to witness miracles...
Is it possible to receive your newletters again? If not, I will continue to look on this site....I appreciate your faithfulness and passion over the years...Blessings to you...Beth

Dear sister Melody,
Woow, this article is really inspiring and confirming my call. I am assigned by God to open a ministry called WILD Ministry (Women In the Last Days ). We are going to do this ministry in the dark area (the throne of the devil ) in Hawaii. The building that we are going to used is surrounded by the strip clubs. We are going to reach out to strippers, drug dealers, pimps, the forgotten, unwanted ones. I am going to strip away all the devils schemes, lies, deceits in woman's life and give them dignity, their true identity, their purpose in life and their calling through the love of Christ and His truth. Because I had discover that women is a powerful creation of God. She is the most dangerous weapon in the hands of the devil to destroy every relationship when she is unredeemed by Jesus. But she is the most powerful tool in God's hand for the Kingdom of Heaven in reaching out to the world, when she is sanctified by the blood of Jesus, set apart for God . Woow....
Thank you for posting your articles. God bless you. Please hold WILD Ministry in your prayer. God bless you
Magda (Guest) (03/31/2011 15:58) What about the God's Word? The article is completely contrary to the Scripture. We are not to teach as women. Esther was not a teacher - she was humble wife of a king and she was treating her husband with great respect.

Dear Melody,
My heart sings as I read your article. How wonderful to be encouraged. I have learned a powerful secret! Go ahead and plan to do God's will and trust Him to show you the way and provide for it. It works! Yippie! Yay God .. We have the tools! His gifts, His love, His goodness, His fruit and unity with His body! Thank you for the boost to do His will!
Love in Jesus

Re the poster who asked what about the word of God, I agree. God does use women to spread His word, but we aren't to step outside the clear parameters of scripture. Paul knew about Deborah when he wrote that women are not to teach or exercise authority over men, which to me means that women are to teach other women. I've been very blessed by Keith Green's calling the church back from its tendency to commit adultery with the world and bow to cultural preferences in order to please people. Even if we think that God is leading us, if it is contrary to scripture then it must be rejected as a counterfeit leading. God does not contradict Himself. As someone who has had much experience in the charismatic side of the church, I observed a tendency to exalt feelings, impressions and experiences over scripture, with diastrous results and resulting unbiblical teaching. I'm often disappointed to hear the voice of feminism cleverely cloaked in robes of righteousness. God's rules and principles don't restrict Him from accomplishing His desires so why should we feel they restrict us, as if He canot move or use us because of them? A woman of godliness who fears the Lord and obeys Him doesn't have to kick down doors and try to make things happen through force of "soul power", in order to be used of God. Blessings and thank you for considering my thoughts.

Dear Melody,
Thank you for the way you live your life by following Jesus' command to love. Your/husband's music first came to me a few years ago when I was in a tough situation- just a couple songs brought joy & hope in a bleak time. I have recently discovered this LDM site and have almost finished reading "No Compromise," while I "catch-up" on you guys' songs on youtube. Your lives are greatly impacting my life and faith. This month I have a chance to share music of faith and encouragement with prisoners. I feel that God wants me to share some difficult things with them. This scenario is probably daily fare for you/r family, but new to me. As this article implies, it is time to get off the platform and into a lifeboat. Would you please say a little prayer for me? Thank you for LDM and beyond.
Love,
Jenny

in the interest of truth, accuracy, and honoring yhwh and his word. best to take out your comments about the pagan roman catholic - she robbed billions from corporations the world over, and never had any assurance of her own salvation. she was a most pitiful example of the total and complete deception your husband was exposing before he went to be with the master.

Thank you for you beautiful and encouraging words Melody..
I have held your ministry in my heart for many many years and cried heart wrenching tears when Keith and two of your children were taken from this earth..
You are brave and filled with such love for the Lord. Bless your heart.. You give great examples of some of the strong women of history. All that you mentioned were/are great examples and I'm sure all (including Mother Teresa who honestly admitted) struggle with their belief and faith from time to time... But the bottom line is that they kept (and keep) on living what they believe.
Our faith is not what we do when the sunshines happily on us, instead our faith is how we face the storm..
You have done beautifully and are an encouragement!
Many Blessings upon you!!
Carol Lee
